Fees and Practicalities

The information below offers some clarity around session structure, fees and ways of working. I hope it helps you decide whether my approach and availability feel like a good fit for you.

How I work

I offer 50-minute sessions, which give us enough time to work carefully and without rushing — important for the complex, relational, trauma-informed and integrative work I do. I hold a small caseload at any one time, so each piece of work can be given proper attention and held with care.

Fees

Individual sessions (50 minutes): £90

Couples sessions (50 minutes): £120

Fees are the same for in-person and online sessions

Supervision for Individuals (50 minutes) £85

Supervision in a group of 4 (3 hours) £85 each

Insurance

I work with clients insured through AXA. If you're covered by a different insurer, please get in touch before we begin — additional charges may apply.

Concessions and flexibility

I keep a small number of concessionary places at reduced rates for public sector workers and people on restricted incomes — please don't hesitate to ask. I also understand that cost matters, and I don't want it to stand in the way of getting support. If you're working to a budget, sessions don't have to be weekly — we can space them to suit your circumstances and find a way of working that fits what you can manage.

Location for face to face sessions

I offer face-to-face sessions in Frome and the surrounding areas — including Bath, wider Somerset, Wiltshire and Dorset — Mondays to Thursdays.

Online

I work online with clients across the UK and internationally. Many people combine in-person and online sessions, particularly when their work or lives involve travel, relocation or changing schedules. If you want to work with me online, I send you a Microsoft Teams link and I use WhatsApp as a back-up for those where wifi may be troublesome.

Frequency and commitment

Most people attend weekly or fortnightly, and we can think together about a pace that suits your life and your budget. What I offer is ongoing, relational therapy rather than one-off or drop-in sessions — but how often we meet can flex around your circumstances.

Confidentiality and discretion

I work with a strong emphasis on confidentiality, professional boundaries and discretion — particularly when clients live or work in public-facing, creative or high-pressure roles.

Contracts and Information gathering

After our initial conversation, I will send you online forms to complete. The first form is about basic information I require to meet my professional obligations and the second is regarding session frequency and agreed fees.

Getting here and accessibility

My consulting room is in Frome, with parking directly outside the door. It's about a ten-minute walk from Frome railway station and from the centre of town, with a bus stop roughly five minutes away. There are toilet facilities, and the space offers complete privacy.

The room isn't fully wheelchair accessible, but I'm able to accommodate many mobility needs. If you have particular access requirements, please mention them when you get in touch and we'll talk through whether the space will work for you.

Enquiries

If you'd like to enquire, you're warmly welcome to get in touch with a brief outline of what you're looking for help with, and whether you're interested in individual or couples work, in person or online. If you're unsure whether the fees or arrangements will work for you, please ask — I'd always rather talk it through than have cost put you off. I aim to respond within a few working days.
