Working in Music, Media and the Arts

Understanding
I have a particular understanding of life lived in the public eye, and of the worlds of music, media, sport and the arts. Many of the people I work with come from these fields — musicians and performers, senior figures in media and advertising, and professional athletes, including footballers and Olympians. I know the pressures that come with visibility, performance, and being expected to cope while everyone assumes you're fine.
My understanding of these worlds is personal as well as professional. I have lived closely alongside the music industry for many years and know it from the inside — the reality of touring and life on the road, the politics of backstage at the world's biggest venues, and the unglamorous business behind the scenes: the schedules, the finances, the relentless day-to-day of sustaining a career. I understand what it asks of the person in the spotlight, and of everyone around them.
One-to-one therapy
I work with performers and high-profile professionals who feel stuck, depleted, or unable to admit how they're really doing — often while maintaining the appearance that all is well. Therapy offers a confidential, grounded space where none of it has to be explained or performed, and where the person behind the public role can be properly understood.
Support for families
The pressures of this world are rarely carried by one person alone. I work with partners and children navigating absence, relocation, and the challenge of building a stable life around an unpredictable one — helping families stay connected and resourced through the demands of a public-facing career.
Working with bands, artists and their teams
Drawing on my experience of group supervision and of working with families and wider systems, I also offer support to bands, artists and the teams and crew around them. Touring and high-pressure creative work place real strain on the people who hold it all together, and on the relationships between them. Whether that's helping a team communicate and look after one another, supporting wellbeing on the road, or being a steady, independent presence to turn to, I welcome enquiries about consultancy and group work tailored to what you need.
Discretion
I understand how much confidentiality matters when your work is public-facing, and I hold it with the utmost care. Discretion is central to how I work with everyone, and especially with those who live or work in the public eye.
If any of this speaks to you, you're warmly welcome to get in touch for a confidential conversation.
